I have heard that street people, those who live rough, always start off on liquor, jazz and maybe some blues, and bad men or women.

Stay off the loco weed, or you will see all sorts of things which you cannot explain like tree spirits, water spirits, corn mash spirits other hard liquor and jazz.
My mother warned me and I never heeded her advice until it was too late. Do not take this statement as an admission that I have actually taken the loco weed, and if I did, I did not breathe it in.
And especially do not make cookies or cakes from the weed because you get 'loco' for longer. Longer and smoother on the ups and downs.
